Darrell Adams makes wood fired porcelaneous stoneware pottery on beautiful Kanapaha Prairie near Gainesville, Florida. The flame and ash from the wood firing process add their own patterns that enhance the applied glazes and create truly one of a kind pottery.
Darrell developed his interest in pottery through his grandfather and great-uncle, Bill and D.X. Gordy, both were lifelong potters. Darrell uses many glazes and methods that he learned from his family, as well as using their potter's wheels and other equipment.
